MMOs need constant new content to keep players engaged. Even a great game like Elden Ring would get boring if played repeatedly. Sadly, based on AGS's track record with New World and other games, I doubt they can produce quality content quickly enough to satisfy players. At best, I think their big announcement will be a small force-flagged PvP zone, fresh start servers and a console release. It's disappointing because New World had the best solo PvP experience I've ever had in an MMO. I quit because OPR and 3v3 became repetitive, even though I was a PvP addict. If I hadn't gotten hooked on PvP at launch, I would've quit with the majority. Here's hoping for a rise in views with another great MMO launch

If there is a ton of hype for console it could save the game but they have to actually fix the bugs like they said they would for any of that to work I think

ya the game is over, every time i try and come back as a new player, the entire world is dead, nobody is leveling world feels so empty.

If console launch happens probably will happen the same as with ESO: The Elder Scrolls Online (ESO) does not currently support cross-platform play between different console types or between consoles and PC, limiting player interactions within platform-specific realms.

Console release will save the dev team for their sales numbers but it will not save it on PC they really need to pull their finger out when it comes to PvP content

I don't think so. I think it is already decided. I was playing the last days, and the thoughts that came to my mind were: this game is such a piece of shit. If I do mutations, it feels pointless, rewards are useless, and after doing the dungeon 2 times, I need to disconnect because is boring (and imagine that the same dungeons are one week long up). If I do pvp, it feels also awful because there is no matchmaking and games end 1000 vs. 100, the 90% of the time. Sometimes, it is even game after game in a row like that. And that it, there is absolutely nothing else to do. The dies, yes or yes, in my opinion because it is in a horrible, horrible state.

This game used to be great back in the early days. Now it's pay to win (players buying gold with real money). Just about everyone and their mother is buying gold and I wouldn't be surprised if AGS themselves are selling gold to players! For those who aren't a big fan of pvp, regardless your opinion whether or not they should enjoy pvp content, are forced to either grind the rng OPR, where 8/10 times it's one sided and no one gets credit... or spam the same pvp faction mission over and over for weeks, if not months, just for a CHANCE to obtain a artifact. And for the other gear you want to upgrade to 700 gearscore?? It costs anywhere from 7k-15k+ gold to upgrade ONE piece of gear. Hence the pay to win comment. And don't even get us started on the countless bugs they ignore (players call these "features" as a joke lol). Constant weapon glitches, getting stuck in the same dungeon being forced to leave at the start of a mutator, being disconnected during OPR just to be penalized "for quitting" resulting in waiting for 45 minutes before you can que up again, HP bars not depleting as you pummel someone... it's a long ass list that I don't have the patience for to list them all! Sadly, AGS has done this to themselves. Maybe they can fire more of their people in hopes things will change... lmao Looking for a different game to play!! Open to suggestions.
