I used to get every main console wrestling game. From WWF Royal rumble on the genesis up until 2k22. I took a break from the last 2 cause I didn’t play *that* much of 2k22 and I felt like I was bored of the series, and there wasn’t enough to make up for 2k20 and the delay to bring me back. First time I took a break from the series so after skipping 2 games I’m curious if there’s enough change or upgrades in this one to convince me to come in. But I gotta be real. I was really sour on myfaction, felt the creation suite have been downgraded, universe mode (my favorite mode) was ignored for what felt like a decade, and my GM was a nice addition but not enough to make up for everything else. But new year, new opportunity. Let’s see what they got.

@@flurxy2 there’s no crying mate, this is the pure truth. I like Rhea, but not at the moment. She does NOT need a title reign to show who she is and what she’s about. What was best for business was Rhea losing and then being moved over to Smackdown maybe for Nia Back to Raw but after a couple weeks to allow Tiffany and Nia to feud first. Liv had such a perfect reign ( in her ways, Rhea pulled it down over and over again ). And Liv also had so many opponents that could’ve faced her for the title, Alexa Bliss could’ve been her WM opponent if she joins the Wyatt 6. She had unfinished business with Becky Lynch who could return at the Royal Rumble etc. Rhea has already won this title before, She should’ve gone over to Smackdown ( she’s been a raw star her whole Main Roster career btw ). @@flurxy2 no I’m not mad about Rhea with the title, I’m mad about Liv’s shit booking. Please, go watch her in like Smackdown 2023. She was like a crazy person who would go after anybody, and that includes Rhea. It was like that up until she won the championship, then every time Rhea would come out even when it’d be a 5v1 someone Rhea would pull it off and be unbeatable. On a serious note, that title does need to come off of her shoulder at The Rumble Or WM. Whether it’s Liv again, maybe Becky or maybe even somehow Alexa Bliss. Rhea needs a character revamp along with Damian Priest, Damian almost kills himself every time he jumps over the top rope. He got stuck in the rope at CATC, Botched at Saturday Night’s Main Event and that ruined his match. Liv is just a hardworking lifetime fan and gets treated like shit as champion.

I'll bet those "game changing new features" are just reverting the controls back to 2K19 and maybe... at least three QoL additions. I feel like they said the same thing for 2K24 and it seemed pretty minimal. Here's hoping it's genuinely good... and that they don't break the AI in a patch again.

WWE was like fuck it we continue it for another 8 months without Roman or Jey or Jimmy as the og bloodline Sami wasn't in the bloodline the original bloodline those three at first or Roman and Jey in 2020-221 and create a different set as the bloodline saga remember summer the past year every one betrayed Roman Sami in January and Usos in June and July for years it was jimmy trying to get Jey to turn on roman also Jimmy was the one accepted Sami when everyone else wasn't Jey was the hater I thought it was strange the second that Sami betrayed Roman it was jimmy that super kicked him not Jey sure they got close since survivor series and stop Solo for Samoan spike but it made sense for Jey to do that Jimmy siding with Sami because in storyline he was the the critic of Roman power when Jey was forced to stay in line Then the Usos had the civil war then HHH thought why not have the one guy was speaking out against Roman to the one to return to Roman side attack his twin then fast forward to 3 months ago for whatever reason they decide to have them rejoin Roman against solos bloodline Pretty sure all of them helped Cody to beat him at mania outside of Jimmy who was feuding with Jey but it's reusing storylines to never properly concluded it been 4-5 years since they started it in August 2020 I don't see anything different

Personal opinion, I'd love to see a 2k game get constant roster updates, etc. Like a "live service" game. Keep the 2k style, gameplay, visuals, everything like that. But do constant updates every month. Like maybe add the entire attitude era roster/alt attires for said roster, arenas, everything. Do the same with all the weird, and obscure stuff from the 80's too.

How about we start with improved and properly functioning gameplay? They could begin by removing the stupid collar and elbow grab animation that they made a key component of the new grab/ combo/breaker system. You know, the one that should have never made it into 2K22? Two years later, it’s still a thing. That, or at least change up the animation as the match progresses to show fatigue. Instead what we get is the same ugly and unrealistic tie up animation throughout the entirety of every match. The awkward breaks and transitions after said unnecessary tie up really takes me out of the action. It is Absolute nonsense. That’s not even accounting for the god awful hit detection and random array of glitches that occur throughout any given match. The graphics look great, and have since 2K15 (20 aside) but the gameplay needs a major overhaul in order for the series to be considered “good”.

I finally had gotten a PS5 on Christmas 2023 with Spider-Man 2. Yet I havent gotten to even touch the PS5 yet since my stepdad hogs it even though my grandma who bought it for us said it was for the whole family. I then got WWE 2K24 a few months later and still havent played that either.
