To be honest, I would have just gone for a Mac Mini for that price... I ran away from windows for Linux, and ocasionally MacOS. I only virtualize Windows when I need to compile for it...

Not just mini pcs, X plus chips should be used in power efficient smart ai monitors and tv with built in webcam and speakers. Qualcomm should make this happen.

Are there any USB token drivers for ARM? Many applications that use Hasp dongle and USB tokens with digital certificates cannot be used on Windows ARM PC.

​@@maxrinehart4177 Shitty Adreno GPU and CPU cores for arm notebooks. But for phones... is only the best. I think that Microsoft and Qualcomm is just holding the market for others companies since this will kill a good amount of the market for computer components.

@@maxrinehart4177 The desktop/notebook version of Snapdragon processors is very very very bad, Qualcomm only uses the worst CPU Cores and also the worst Adreno GPU for notebooks. This makes no sense. I think that this is a plan to holds the market of computer components alive for a little bit. And about the "emulator", it's fine, just watch how far smartphones can reach gaming with Windows Emulation in Android with unofficial drivers.

I don't think arm base PCs will ever take off or ever get significant adoption. it looks like Microsoft kinda agrees because of their hybrid arm/X 86 requirements coming out for AI adoption. there is a big difference between apple eco system vs pc.. its not going to be easy

That's just your personal opinion. For me, Mac is the worst OS and the worst environment. If the hardware is good since the silicon chip (It never was before...), for me it's not compensating to have to deal with macOS and the ecosystem. Even worse, the mentality of Apple company and the users...

From early released performance numbers, it is basically the Windows M2 Pro.

@@akin242002 If we're going with early benchmarks (which is a bad idea), it's pretty close to the M3 Pro actually, depends on which SKU you get obviously, but the top ones seem to be ~100 points off the M3 Pro. Probably for half the price though
