Nice thing setting the crossover points for HPF/LPF... Only you left the selector to "Full" so that we could hear the speakers in full range.

He do what you shouldn't do when you setting a crossover! If you would use a cross over you only use 1 filter. In this case it's supposed to be LPF and put it on 80Hz or whatever the manufacturer recommend for the speaker. It's a coaxial so it can reproduce frequencys up to 20KHz.

I'd like to see a dynamic test on the 5k. I'm returning the one I have. I was advised by my installer that it was barely putting out 790 watts @ 1ohm

I have these for rear fill and the comp's up front. The tweeter is where these shine, German silk! Very clean, crisp reproduction.

Those are huge power inputs for a 4 channel amp. Looks like a great quality fullbrige amp. You should do a review on the 5 k nvx

Hey Jacob... Was curious about this amp, as it's also rated for 1600w RMS @ 2Ohm for 2 channels... Wondering if this could also be used as a subwoofer amp then because of that spec...? 🤔

Your correct this amp amzn.to/3xJTYcN yes you can run 2 ohm bridged for subwoofers. Check manual on how to tune to it, really easy.

You didn’t even set the hpf, the amp is set to full! And your understanding of an lpf is completely wrong… an lpf is a low pass filter, it cuts out high end. The only way to use both is a band pass filter which is putting the switch to the right but you’d have no reason to with a coaxial. Set the hpf to 60-80hz and that’s it
