I bought an @play 360 controller for like 20 euro still sealed in packaging, it’s a third party licenced 360 controller from back in the day. Years ago I bought an Xbox one version, used it for so many years on PC, worked like a charm. Still use it as a backup controller for pc (I now prefer the 8bitdo ultimate with its 2.4ghz dongle and hall sticks)

I will always find it funny that official Xbox controllers still use AA batteries, but hey at least this is rechargeable. Strange that it's using micro-usb, and not USB type C.
@RedBandanaGamingАй бұрын
I'm assuming it's much cheaper than using type-c.
@Rafeku1Ай бұрын
I dont see the use of AA Batteries as a negative. There is also a battery option, which should come with the controller, but at least this can make the controller last longer. Dead battery? Open cover and swap. Can't do the same on PS and NS as easily, you need to crsck the controller open and get the specific battery for that controller as a spare part

I have 2 Xbox 360 controllers from my original unit that still work perfectly. If not for those batteries, I imagine I'd have been forced to buy additional ones at this point.

Rechargeable AA Batteries are cheap to buy and usually come in packs of four.

I find it funny people think one option is factually better even though rechargeable batteries and AA batteries are literally down to preference, they both have pro’s and con’s.

Amazing work mate, keep up with these experimentations, even tho it's kinda sad that these controllers might not bee 100%, it's always nice to know there's still companies making them, just have to find the right one, thanks a lot and i'm not even a 360 player, i'm on pc, but i love the content!

Thanks for that. I greatly appreciate it. 👍🏻

Seen a video of a guy using the Retro fighters Hunter with a Brooke Wingman XB2, think Im gonna go for that
@ExiledAlchemist29 күн бұрын
At this point the best option is to buy a universal adapter like the Brook Wingman XB 2 so you can use One/Series compatible controllers on the 360 instead.
@unforgivencaleb528Ай бұрын
If I said it once, I said it a hundred times (and you even said it yourself in the video): You get what you pay for. Honestly, you're probably better off getting a Brook XB2 adapter and using the newer XBox controllers (or PS4/PS5 controllers if you so desire).

Just bought one, doesn't work unless plugged in directly for some reason. However, the USB is flashing so I am wondering if we missed something in connecting/pairing it? Did you do anything to set up past plugging in the USB and charging the controller? I would be grateful for any tips!

Never mind! I tinkered with the setting and updated the console, and I got it!

Sorry for the late reply. I just saw your comment. Glad you got it to work. 👍🏻

I am surprised that you found a Xbox 360 third party controller and it’s looking good also you test it on your Xbox 360 or no

Its a knockie!! I can hear Nick saying that. I have almost every 360 1st party cintrollers ever made. Thankfully mine are in mint condition. Is there a 3rd oarty you recommend. Dont think they made pro controllers back then.
@RedBandanaGamingАй бұрын
They had the controller with the adjustable d-pad. I guess that would be the closest to a pro controller. As of right now, there isn't a third-party I'd recommend, but I'll keep looking.

Bad analog sticks? Say less. Lol that's the only reason I watched this. It's really sad that some stores REALLY dont know what they are selling man... or dont care. If I ran a store, I wouldnt want to sell my customers slop products like this

I bought one of these controllers for my PC but I can't find how to get it to connect to my PC. I have the USB plugged in but it does not pair to the Bluetooth and does not have a pairing button
@RedBandanaGaming18 күн бұрын
Yes. The pairing button is on the dongle. I tried it on PC and it works.
@truffleshuffle00918 күн бұрын
@ I think mine was defective I also tried the dongle button and it would not connect that way either. I ended up taking it back. I spent 2 hours trying to get it to work.

It looks like the generic xbox one controller but with transparent chasis 😂 I think these are mass produced in China and companies buy them in large quantities to put their names on them. They're found under different names all over the world. In Romania they have Myria written at the top and they're 22 dollars.
