I did some modifications, mainly because of the seat. I required more cushion and a bump for the passenger (when you apply the brake, the passenger will slip forward from his position. Also, distract the rider). Also, replaced with led bulbs for the pilot light and brake light. Now I'm really happy with my bike.

The max power is now 12.4Ps@7250rpm vs BS4's 13.2@8000rpm.. what that means is to access the additional power you have to be above 7250rpm!.. The FZs have always been bikes for 3000-7000rpm mid range.. Therefore practically the performance doesn't make any difference! In terms of max torque 13.6Nm@5500rpm now vs BS4's 12.8Nm@6000rpm.. again in terms of load carrying ability, now the BS6 is superior.. the additional torque is more noticed when you have a higher weight on the bike say a Pillion.. On the whole the FZ remains one of the best practical, classy bike in the segment..

The max power reduction should reduce the max speed the bike could hit. And Torque improvement like you said should be beneficial when riding with a pillion but if you did test ride both the BS-4 and BS-6 variant you should be able to tell the difference in the acceleration. And yes FZ is always a great option in this segment.

Night time visibility is good. There are better ones in the segment but with the FZ you will be more than fine. I haven’t tested BS-6 RTR 160 4v yet. Will update soon after testing.

@@victor46595 bro, I have bs4 FZ V3, if the rider and pillion each of them weigh around 65 to 70kgs, underbelly of bike hits the speedbumps. I have faced this issue many times when I have a pillion. So I will have to slow down the bike to avoid this and slowly pass over the speedbump. This issue is due to soft rear suspension.

You should be fine in wet conditions because the tyres does grip on well. Now I didn’t get a chance to test the rear hugger in wet conditions but I think it should be good enough to keep you safe from dirt.

If your use is basically only for city rides and you want to do grocery and stuff then scooter is the one I will recommend. And in that case I would suggest NTorq. But if your Use is city commutes and occasional touring then I would suggest to get a bike and in that case I would recommend the fzs.

Bullet 350 bs6 will be out soon (classic already came). Also waiting to see unicorn bs6. Confused which one to buy. Love the design and look of fzs red. Fzs V3 @ 1.25 lakh or bullet 350 es at probably 1.7 lakh ..I really like the new Fzs. But people say great things about bullet ride quality and posture. I have never ridden. Unicorn will be about 1.2 lakh.

They both are good bikes bro. X Blade is still my favourite pick from BS-4 bikes in this segment. And now we are getting BS-6 bikes And this bike is a great example for all manufacturers. And let’s hope Bajaj, TVS, Suzuki, Honda and all others make exceptional BS-6 versions.

It’s just Carb tuning. Honda wanted Hornet to be the top performer and that’s why they tuned X Blade differently. But still X Blade felt more responsive.
