These are not meant for Indian roads. Trust me, it will shorten your engine life. There are too many dust particles in the Indian roads. *Secondly and the more serious one is that* , You did not do any Ecu remapping, then you are running lean, as K&N cone air filter will allow more air in the engine but the ecu send same signals it was programmed to the injector which lead to too much air but less fuel, Your engine will be stressed and Run hotter and it will shorten engine life drastically. Love your motorcycle and let it be in its original state for air filter and exhaust. If you are not going to do ECU remapping. *No hate, but an advise to make your engine live its full life.*

remap means you setting back the air and fuel ratio.but there is when you use aftermarket ecu.the original ecu canot be remap just can reflash or reset.

Performance slightly increased in first 2 gares and the sound was just amazing until 2500rpm it’s like normal after reaching above 2500rpm it’s sound like sports bike and in mileage I think I got 0 drop getting same mileage..! Oh, great. I bought this K&N air filter after watching your video, but I still haven't installed it since I was told my bike will run very lean. I already am facing performance loss due to no back pressure from the straight pipe of the Daytona, so waiting for my ECU, cam, valve springs etc to arrive. Then I will be able to tune the bike properly. I am still in two minds about the K&N though. Since the stock bike has a flat air filter and this K&N is just a universally designed conical one. So, in two minds. Thinking of getting a flat aftermarket air filter from Thailand (tried and tested). What do you think? Have you gained top end with it? Any other mods on the list?

@@eeunjeung does Yamaha India suggest to install on it ? ... For eg. Daytona exhaust is offered by Yamaha India. You can't claim warranty if in case u damage engine for using k and n filters 😂. Think and decide and i did not say any comments about the engineering team. If they are damn well and good ask them to get approval from Yamaha ..

Why in India almost 90% are always concerned only for the mileage!? What about the power !? The looks!? The cleanliness!? The safety!? The passion for other riders!? The respect for others!? Whenever i ride people always asks for the mileage! They asks me about my exhaust and that also enclosed by mileage.. why the mileage!?? Isn't there any other questions that people could ask??? i owned both V2 and V3 i fully modified my V2 and leave the V3 as stock for now since it is new.. and yeah the only question i get is ye kitne ka hai!? Without ECU remap or a piggyback ECU you will loose power by running lean. Lean mixture makes your engine run hotter.
