Why are you not playing the expansion? I follow multiple RTS but this is the first one where people keep posting outdated gameplay without the expansion.

This is BFME 1, there are no expansions. BFME2 is a different game if you mean that, the main difference being 4 instead of 6 factions while being set in the movie instead of the wars on the frontiers at the same time. Gameplay-wise, many people prefer the camp system of BFME1 to that of its predecessor.
