Thailand ushered in the New Year with a spectacular musical fireworks display at the Iconsiam mall in Bangkok amid surges in coronavirus cases that disrupted outdoor celebrations.
This New Year’s Eve is being celebrated like no other, with coronavirus pandemic restrictions limiting crowds and many people bidding farewell to a year they’d prefer to forget.
