I doubt this will produce much snow. It’s not a very cold airmass. Not even as cold as the November cold snap. There’s more chance for there to bad storms coming our way in my opinion. Which is just exactly what we need after the battering we’ve had already this year.

Not sure what this video is talking about. The Apple Weather apps is showing a low of 5 and high of 10 degrees on New Years Day, in south east England. I have never seen snow under those conditions in 60 years.

I don’t think we’ll get much snow, Scotland & northern England might be the exception but particularly across southern England & south Wales a dusting a bit inland, but on the coast probably rain/ sleet- The sea temperature is still 10/11°C so it will make lying snow unlikely around the coast!
