You guys should go to Paradise Pier for New Year's Eve to watch the fireworks/world of color show! I would definitely go there instead of Disneyland! Disneyland seems more crowded than DCA but around midnight the crowds will probably be the same.

Yes! I think that's what we're going to do next year. DCA has Fastpass for the midnight WOC show so we'll be sure to get a spot. Main Street was so crowded that we had to stand on the sidewalk!

Yesterday, 12-26-15, Disneyland was the most crowed thempark that I have never experienced in my life. The average wait time for any major rides were more than 60 minutes in late afternoon. Prirates ride was 100 minutes, and the line was long almost reached Haunted Mansion, which had the same wait time. :(

Wow 20 rides? That's decent for New Years actually, but when I got I at least ride 20 rides in each park! I go at the end of January generally. We can literally walk onto almost every ride. Besides space mountain, radiator springs and toy story. Sometimes you wait 10 minutes and such but that is not bad at all for disneyland.

Yes!! I think our record was like 25 rides and we didn't even get there until late afternoon. This was in early Feb. as I recall. Have fun when you go :)

Right after the 9 pm fireworks show ends and the crowd thins out on Main Street is a good time to find a good spot. You can probably find decent spots an hour or two before midnight but you will be much further down Main Street :)
