Hey Everyone and Happy New Year! Welcome back to the channel for a special look at the figures I consider my top non-Hot Toys releases of 2023.
Just a note that these picks are based on figures I actually purchased in 2023 so it is from a much more limited selection, but hoping you enjoy my take on these.

3rd party figures are great for accessories and that Vera figure had great high heel shoes and motorcycle boots. I bought a few of those shoes for my custom figures. My top 5 are 5 : Soosootoys X-Men Anna Marie aka Rogue. 4: Hot heart Jill Valentine. 3: Exo-6 Seven of Nine, 2: Verycool Toys CYBERPUNK Trikybaby, and 1: Modern/classic version Damtoys Claire Redfield

the Damtoys figures have some really great pieces. I like your top 5! I agree with you re: seven of nine. The only reason she's not on the list is mainly that the Locutus figure is that amazing. But nice variety there as well.

I truly love how versatile your collection is! You don't pledge allegiance to Hot toys or Inart! .You go out of the box by including DID, EXO-6, Present toys, Dam toys and other third-party figures. Very well rounded and you make no apologies for it! Really dig your videos. Fun to watch and not predictable! ('My top ten Hot toys blah blah blah...or Top ten Star Wars blah blah blah) You get the point Lol! Thank you brother for a refreshing video!

Tony! Always appreciate your insights and kind words. Don't get me wrong, I still love my Hot Toys, but there are other companies out there doing some solid work, even if those lines are a little more Niche! Although I do have to tell you, now I feel a little guilty since I do have a top 5 hot toys of 2023 video coming out soon...lol. Take care my friend! and talk soon.

E&S and DAM Toys are making high quality 1/6 military figures ever since Hot Toys left the scene. That Ghost figure is my top favorite release in 2023, unfortunately it needs so many parts replacement to make it presentable. I personally replaced the holster (so the combat belt sits flush to the hip), the boots (the real cloth boots look horrendous up close), the chest pouch into a Juggernaut case for tablet (I put the pouch on the combat belt) and added a sling to the rifle.

Totally agree, that they've both stepped into that space left by hot toys, and also by soldier story. They used to be at the forefront and then kind of scaled back, I know they're still around but they were doing some great figures and packages in the past. I like the Ghost figure a lot, would love to see what you did with yours! Sounds like you make some good updates to it.

Did you notice on Dam toys website that they took the gangster Kingdom off? Are they not gonna make them anymore?

I went to check as soon as I read your message and you're right! I hope it's not that. I mean they're still showing the world of warcraft line and I don't think they've released anything under that umbrella for a while. I'm going to be so disappointed if they're ending the line. Even though it's a more nice set of figures, I feel like there's a decent support for them.
