To Whistle in the New Year, The Bluebell Railway held a mini-gala. Four locomotives operated passenger, goods, and shuttle services along half of the Bluebell Railway, to just south of Sharpthorne Tunnel, which is closed for track work.
Locomotives Featured:

LB&SCR Terrier No 72 'Fenchurch'
Unfortunately the weather conditions were severely inclement, with very strong gusts of wind in the morning, and rain which did not stop at all for the entire day. This unfortunately negated any lineside filming, and also cause audio and visual problems, combined with the first day in use of a new camera. Due to all these reasons I appologise that the video did not come out as hoped.
Also note that the Starting Signal in the up (northbound) direction for Horsted Keynes Platform 3 failed a couple of days before the event. A qualified hand-signaler was positioned by the signal, in contact with the signalman and locomotive crews. This video provides a rare opportunity to see hand signalling in a station enviroment.
