Almost 2 year since the birth of AEW. There's been ups, there's been downs But no one thought AEW would survive year one. No one thought big names would sign with the promotion. No one thought they would consistently beat wwe/nxt in ratings. No one thought they would be seen as legitimate. Now, we're in year 2, and I fully intend to be a part of this ride with AEW!
@BlackWind903 жыл бұрын
11 months later and oh boy the things that have happened. AEW survived the pandemic, so many young guys and girls were enstablished as big time players and new ones were signed, the war with NXT was won, Dynamite broke through a million viewers consistently, the forbidden door with Impact! and NJPW was opened and oh my god the amount of stars that came in...Sting, Miro, Christian Cage, Andrade, Ruby Soho, Malakai Black, Adam Cole and of course Bryan Danielson and CM Punk...and one of the best long term storylines was told, with a an amazing conclusion. "Hangman" Adam Page is the fourth AEW World Champion. It has been a thrilling ride and AEW is going towards year 3 with so much momentum and as an enstablished reality, now more than ever. These guys started here saying they wanted to change the world. Well they for sure changed the pro-wrestling world. And they're still doing it. Here's to year 3 of being All Elite.

Holy Shit! You guys are changing the game in such an incredible way. I'm a lifer of a fan, but I said goodbye to mainstream wrestling back in'03. It became so stale cause of the monopolizing of the industry. I'd hit up my Indies and (being the slow birth pains of the internet) getting to see a spot, let alone an entire match, was as difficult as trying to watch an adult film, when you weren't an adult and your parents were do any minute. Thanks to guys like you and, because i came across his channel 1st, Kevin Steen I was essentially granted the ability to bare witness to wrestlers and personalities that I fell in love with. The Elite, the former Mount Rushmore, et al gave the best in ring content you can find and by just being yourselves in front of the cameras you gave more compelling storylines than anything "Creative" has ever put out. When I first discovered all of y'all it was like I was transported back to 1995 eating pretzels with my dad when he accidentally sat on the remote switching stations to the local Spanish channel. It was 3 AM, but I wasn't seeing a telenovela, no I was witnessing Raven beat the ever loving fuck outta this chunky kid I'd never seen named Tommy Dreamer. But the kid wouldn't stay down. I was "All In". It changed my whole paradigm of what wrestling was. Your world wide connections and relationships give you access to actual talent. You've almost broken through the conditioning of the majority. There IS a crack in the damb, and in 2019 I hope you guys help Mother Nature finish what she started. Seriously, thank you for cheering me up about what was once my passion, Pro Wrestling. Y'all are saving an industry that doesn't even know it's sick.

Even bought the replay of All-In when I reached the point of the series that it came on. Still though; even knowing what this was (because I am from the FUUUUUTUUUUREE OOOOOHHHHH!), I feel how exciting that moment must have been. The double or nothing screens come up; I'm betting a lot of people saw that part coming, as it was teased by Cody at the end of All-In. But then Hangman holding up HIS phone...it wasn't even a shock for me because this is almost two years old, but I **still** marked out. It was just SO well done!

Look at it this way: You can't change wrestling by all sitting in one company and bouncing things around. Cody helped build AEW to a legit competition for American wrestling. WWE has had more good moments than bad since AEW came back. It made American wrestling better. Cody being on WWE gives him a goal (win the WHC Dusty deserved) and gives us several wrestlers on WWE that will see AEW as playful challenges. Ultimately, friends in opposing companies trying to one-up each other is good for the sport. It's why Mox uses the curb stomp, why Roman's turn to the Tribal Chief has given him more cred than the big dog. At least, that's the hope.

Almost a year later and still get goosebumps... Going to aew dynamite was the best wrestling experience in my life. Better than any raw or ppv I have been to. Even the environment set it apart.
