Only advice tho, first, close the door on the welder for grinding an welding right there lol, but more importantly, get urself a Lincoln Brand flux cone, itll thread right on ur gun's neck perfectly. Its so much easier to monitor ur stick out that way

I have the first gen black one, not the pro tho, that i bought for a 110v stick welder. Which it doesn't do well at all, honestly. However, the thing is fantastic as a flux core welder. Like, oddly good machine. Ive had it well over a year, ran 10lbs or more wire through it, and its never skipped a beat. For a hundred bucks, its unreal what u get. Then i bought the arc125pro, which is hot garbage lol. But the hone 120 is actually a great stick welder for 110v, thing almost runs as good as my 2000$ Lincoln invertec. Also cheap, at 70$ lol. Pretty crazy. I wanted to get another 135 tho, same as mine, simply to have one on the shelf, if mine dies. But i didn't, an now ya can't get em anymore either. Sucks

What were your settings for flux core (wire speed, volts +/-) ? Was it maxed out? Was the outlet a 20amp circuit? Thanks. I have the 135Pro.

It was maxed out (wire feed speed 420 and +3 volts). It was plugged into a 20amp outlet with a 12 gauge 25ft extension cord.
