👉Staten Island has always been a mysterious place. It's the only borough of New York City that doesn't have a subway system. Driving in Staten Island is an experience in itself. The hills make parking difficult, there are no bike lanes, and the roads are one-way with a ton of stoplights.Throughout this video, we'll explore some of Staten Island's more prominent features.So buckle up and join us on an adventure to see Staten Island through different eyes!
👉Staten Island is a borough of New York City, coextensive with Richmond County, in the U.S. state of New York. Located in the southwest portion of the city, the borough is separated from New Jersey by the Arthur Kill and the Kill Van Kull and from the rest of New York by New York Bay.Motor traffic can reach the borough from Brooklyn via the Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge and from New Jersey via the Outerbridge Crossing, Goethals Bridge and Bayonne Bridge. Staten Island has Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) bus lines and an MTA rapid transit line, the Staten Island Railway, which runs from the ferry terminal at St. George to Tottenville.The free Staten Island Ferry connects the borough to Manhattan across New York Harbor. It provides views of the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, and Lower Manhattan.

I live all the way on the other side of the Island from here. I go down South Avenue all the time but never turn into any of the streets leading to the hotels and industrial parks. Never knew what they looked like until now. Where I live has more woods and park lands than this area, which is pretty commercial.

It's quite big however the rent it's almost at the same level with the rest of New York I would say

This is only a very small section of the Island he's driving through, around Forest Ave., South Ave. and Richmond Ave. Rent is a little cheaper compared to the rest of NYC, but might be expensive compared to comparable areas in other cities.
