The A.C. Gilbert produced American Flyer S gauge Hudsons. Many are still in operation today.

Hopefully you can get some insulation in the ceilings soon to help protect your nice engines from extreem temps in the attic. When I finished small attic area with a pull down steps, I put r19 in ceiling then used OSB plywood to cover it, painted it blue then used a sea foam style roller to put (white) clouds overtop of blue

The B&O grasshopper engine was the backbone loco in the early days and had a long service time, but very few if any models were made

I met you at York I didn't know you have a you tube channel I don't think Hudson will be recognized as the most iconic engine,for the simple fact None survive Out of sight Out of mind Ithink big boy or 611 are most iconic Perhaps nockel plate road 765 You Hudson is beautiful I actually got my first MTH engine yesterday.I wish I had a DCS system
