It is like this already. I live in France, somewhere at 500m altitude. Here winters are just like autumns, a little cold, no more. Between December and February, it didn't snow even one snowflake. The year before, only 2 or 3 days, all days being apart from each other. Loving winter, the cold, and the snow, I hate where I live (people don't understand me). So I watch videos to see some snow I'll never see by myself...

When school starts in September, everyone's usually awkward, summer just ended, your getting ready of another 10 months of school. But by December, when it's holiday season, you have your friend groups, know who you need to know, and you have a basic routine. It's a time of the year that you feel a sense of calm. Even if you stay inside. Millions of others are too. You never feel like your missing out. This feeling is heavily attached to the snow. When you see Central Park while it's snowing, it's nothing short of a dream. I've lived here since my first memories. Seeing less and less snow every year just hurts.

Having 4 seasons have its ups and downs. Its bad when you have to buy more clothes according to season. Its great that things are pretty and changes all the time. But in New York its mostly grey and cloudy, wet, and cold during winter. Winter there can even extend to April. Basically, 6 months of winter, 2 months of fall, 2 months of spring and 2 months of summer. Hence why people there do not like winter and spending vacation extravagantly in the summer somewhere or in the city.

Wow! I've seen a Christmas movie located in New York last Christmas. Ever since, I wanted to go to New York during Winter just to visit.
