Thank you for Hilton Times Square video tour. I have stayed there multiple times pre pandemic and glad that they reopened the hotel. The $35 fee is like a resort fee. That fee was added around 2018/2019. I was still charged for state and city taxes in addition to the resort fee. I think they call it city destination fee at that time. Westin, renaissance, Marriott marquis, intercontinental hotels have similar fees. Consumable for drinks and food excluding for tips. New things I noticed is the key needed for elevators to work. And those wall mounted soap/ shampoo dispensers. The only thing I didn’t like was the faucet in the sink. Water goes to countertop when I wash my hands. Otherwise hotel is great.

Hello Steve, thank you so much for checking out my video and of course, subscribing to my channel. I really appreciate it. This is a fabulous hotel and its location is spot on! Stepping out of the hotel you turn right on 42nd street which you’re already on then first left and you’re in the center of Times Square, literally a five minute walk. The subway station is a two minute walk left from the hotel. It’s a win, win!! Enjoy your stay. All the best. 👊🏾👊🏾

Great video. How does it work with the tax? Do you pay the whole thing at the beginning and then you get 35 back each day or is it included in the price of the holiday? Thanks

Hey Luke, thank you so much, it’s always nice when someone says they like what I do. 🙏🏾 When you check in, you have to produce a credit/debit card and the tax is taken upfront for the amount of days you’re staying, that is then reimbursed to you a week or so after you check out, or you can use it through-out the hotel as a 35USD per day spend. I’m not sure, but I think that could be a common practice across the city in hotels. Hope that helps. Have a fabulous trip. 👊🏾

Hey Nick H, I actually enjoyed my stay at the Hilton hotel Times Square, I was on the 25th floor in a deluxe queen room. The entire hotel was lovely and my room certainly wasn’t in need of a refurb. Someone else staying in the same room may have found reasons to complain, but that’s the nature of us as individuals. Personally, I don’t think you’d be disappointed if you were to stay here and of course, it’s location to everything is second to none. Thanks for watching my video and engaging. All the best. 👊🏾👊🏾
