Exactly, there's nothing like being in NYC during Christmastime. Even without a White Christmas. I know Disney World is the Most Magical Place on Earth, but NYC is a worthy rival for that title. But of course I'm biased because the NY metro is my neck of the woods

I moved from NJ to Orlando, 2 miles away from Disney's main gate. NYC is more magical during Christmas, for sure IMO....

New York is hands down more magical and honestly a lot cheaper than Disney. I spent far less ( about $1000 total including airfare and hotel) in comparison to the amount of time on a 5 day trip to NYC during the holidays 2 years ago than the $600 spend on 1 day at Disney with my husband and was greatly dissapointed. New York has more to do/ see and much better food at better prices. Ill take NY anyday 🤷🏼‍♀️

I absolutely love the wonderment Amber shows when she’s in ‘shopping mode’. It never gets old-I could literally listen to the ah’s and ooh’s for hours ☺️ I’m so impressed that, even though Amber can obviously afford it, she doesn’t walk from shop to shop pointing at random expensive items whilst her friend or a salesperson is tasked with collecting all the items to be piled into bags when they’ve been checked out! You just know that each of Ambers family and friends will receive a beautiful, meaningful & thoughtful gift from her, which she doesn’t brag about on camera. Hope your Christmas is wonderful and you enjoy some much deserved time off with adorable George! And to everyone reading this-hope you all have a magical, and safe, festive period and that we can all look forward to 2022 without the difficulties of the past year or so 😊 🤶 🔔 🥂🍾

Okay so I got pregnant at 18 and have low-key always been envious of how much amber travels and just does anything her heart desires and so I honestly stopped watching all the shopping videos cause I wish I was born in different circumstances.. I just clicked on this video after her amber×Gabi video and realized I was just in new york city for the first time, walking through Central park just like every fancy person I envy, celebrating my 5 year anniversary. No I'm not walking through the stores to buy anything but we stayed in time Square and even got to see the tree by radio city. Dreams can come true if you have the patience and determination, to make them happen. Thanks for inspiring me to keep dreaming 🥰

When I was really young my family lived in upstate NY and we'd come to the city right before Xmas to do shopping (well, our parents shopped - as a kid I just tagged along). I remember being in AWE every time we passed the store displays and we'd go to the tree to skate but didn't realize how busy it was so it never really worked out. But I'd sit with my hot cocoa + watch families skating together, shopping, enjoying each other's company. This was like 2001-ish. Very deep core memory. Stopped going to NYC for Xmas when my family moved away after dad got a new job out of state which led to us moving further east. I'm lucky to have the memories that I do from that time in my life. If you're someone who finds themselves presented with the opportunity to visit NYC this time of year (not just on xmas) I would recommend you do it. It's something you'll always look back on with fond memories. ❤
