Great to see that you broke down all the prices! I live in U.S. and have visited NY a few times. I would say that the amount you spent on food (obviously not very cheap) was only because you mostly had food from restaurants joints like Subway, Chipotle, Applebees etc. If you would have gone to any proper restaurant it is way more expensive than buying from these kind of places. So, i would say you saved a significant amount of money by not going to any special restaurants!
