Roosevelt Avenue is a 5.8-mile corridor in Queens, New York that runs east to west underneath the elevated tracks of the 7 subway line. It's the main thoroughfare of the Jackson Heights neighborhood, which is known for its diverse cultural representation, including Indian , Chinese and Latin American. Roosevelt Avenue is also home to many immigrants from nearly every country in the world

In 1988 when I arrived in NYC, I lived at 74th st a block away from Roosevelt ave. and worked as a taxi driver. I used to work on Roosevelt ave. picking up passengers late at night on the weekends. My first fake green c. I bought on Roosevelt ave. 😂😂
