A whole new generations of young people that make up New York City nowadays. It has changed drastically. I was born and raised there in the 1950s and into the 1960s when NY was more glamorous and less deteriorated. It was the real New York back then, styles changed and the people as well. It looks very sad but I still Love my New York.

Many Chicago people try to compare Chicago to New York City. Sorry, all of you, Chicagoans, the windy city is boring compared to NYC. I lived in both cities.

@sylvestersmith5072 We're on the same page. New York City is a megacity and packed with amenities because it's a 24-hour city. New York compares well with Tokyo and Chicago compares with Toronto. New York has 6 million more people within its population than Chicago. There is no comparison at all.
