As a native New Yorker, I've been an observer of NYFW since I could breathe... My late godmother was a wholesaler of HIGH end accessories and I caught the bug from being in her presence. Yet during my childhood (late 60's/1970's) there was always something missing... an abundance of BLACK GIRL MAGIC🖤 This footage had me mesmerized. All the beauty of blackness on display. Although my godmama wasn't a woman of color I can tell you she would be just as thrilled as I am; having informed me continually how "beautiful" I was/am-- Thank Jenee for showing us how TRULY dazzling we are!

Just incase you don’t a response. From what I’ve seen watching a few different vlogs from Jeneé and the other ladies featured. Some ppl don’t get invited to the shows/presentations but still go to NYFW to have their pics taken by street style photographers which can lead to other things in the future.

I’m a dinosaur but I recall the FIT kids and others in the NYC area just mill around the show area (it used to be centralized at Bryant Park) to get spotted and if she’s interested in being at the shows, she can do the same or if she wants to be inside, apply to be a dresser for the models at the shows. Other than that, she should focus on curating her IG and honing her style - it’s hard to get noticed but thankfully, there are more avenues to get put on than there used to be!

Hi Great video. What I loved about the video was how easily you adjusted to the things that went wrong. The shoes and the designer outfit being too long.
