We're closer then you think we have a few major holes cb1, wr2, te, besides that we need depth. And it's not a surprised, I knew when we got schoen it would take a few years, 1 year he got rid of those huge free agents signings, year 2 we got out of cap hell, year three we really made some strides as far as talent on the roster. This year we get our QB and we supplement the roster with depth. We will be competitive. If schoen continues to use free agents to plug those major holes , will allow us to go bpa in the draft. We should target Higgins, he's a veteran that will bring leadership he could be a mentor to nabors and he'll make defenses pay for trying to take nabors out the game, we should sign dj, reed from the jets, that gives us a veteran starting corner to take pressure of banks and give him a chance to develop, and the. A solid vet at TE maybe gesicki.

And Darren Beavers would have been a player except for injuries. Joe also made some good free agent pick-ups. But I get it, you'd rather start over from scratch again. Shiny new faces you can get excited about then turn on in 12 to 18 months. That's not how you build a winner but at least you and Marshall will be entertained.

This is my thought. Why not go for the BEST player? Neither QB is considered the best. They both rank between 12th-15th best players in the draft. Take Hunter and bring in a free agent. Maybe draft a lower tier QB as a backup or 3rd string and develop him. Add some depth to Defense like we used to do.

I like both but I think Ward has stronger arm and better running if he needs to out of the pocket. I also think Ward has more upside than Sanders. To those saying we should wait for Arch, look I love Arch Manning, huge fan & I think he is a stud. But we can’t wait for 2-3 more years. He may not enter the draft till 2027 because he wants to go same route as his uncles when it pertains to going through College and then onto the NFL. Shannon Dawson is a good Coordinator, but he was propped up by a generational college QB in Cam, that being said, Cam does credit Dawson for having him the best prepared player he has ever been. Dawson as a QB coach in the NFL makes sense, not a coordinator yet. If Giants hire a defensive minded head coach and a veteran offensive coordinator who will be able to work with Dawson, ( as an heir apparent) this could happen. But, that’s a lot of moving parts 😊

I want a 3rd/4th round QB this year if we are waiting for Arch Manning because of Mara. That way we can focus our first two/3 picks on other positions of need, and have someone who can truly give Arch competition, and advice when he comes in. Imagine we get Travis hunter with the 3rd overall pick (trading back from #2 overall for #3 and a third or 4th this year). Then we can focus on o-line, corner or WR depending on what we did with Travis Hunter.

Shadeur Sanders is the better pure passer and thats what I want. I get it Ward is bigger and has the better arm but also has a tendency to take more chances and INTs. Sanders wont make as many mistakes, is more accurate, and most importantly has experience playing behind a bad O-line. Give me the better passer and safer passer.

This is the best thing that could’ve happened to the giants people. Being mediocre would just leave us in bad position in draft and keep the organization wondering if they could string out the dj escapade longer. We needed a bottom 3 season and to snag our guy.
