Thanks Patti! Great show, as always! The biggest questionmark I have, regarding Gano's injury is that he was hurt going into the game and instead of just bringing 2 QBs, they suited up 3. Taking up a spot for a healthy kicker. They clearly didnt learn from last year, where Gano was kicking hurt and turned out to be placed on IR. I believe he can still be mr Reliable, but they need to protect him a little better. I really like the way our Oline is playing. Def the only bright spot in these past 2 weeks. As for our DLine.... the one thing our former GMs did was drafting a DT in 2nd rnd, a few years in a row (lindval joseph, cofield to name a few). Schoen hasnt done that and it bites back with the lack of taldnt next to Dexy (who was drafted 1st rnd by former GM). Thanks again for all your great shows and looking forward to today's one with Victor Cruuuuuzzzz!!

Thanks for another great podcast Patty! Disappointed is an understatement regarding the defensive front. Had such high hopes. And we know the secondary is not strong. Not happy with Daboll’s personnel management although his play calling was better. I am so happy with the oline. Haven’t seen them gel in many years. Kudos to Bricillo. That, Malik and the rookies playing well, are the bright spots this year. We should have won handily against Washington if the defense stepped up. Looking good forward to the Victor Cruz podcast! Let’s get Ed and Coach Gene back on!

Thibodeaux played OK Sunday, however for the fifth overall draft choice, he hasn't shown, that for position he was drafted it was JUSTIFIED. IMO, for what Thibodeaux has shown so far, we could have got equal talent in the 2nd or maybe 3rd round. He can't hold the EDGE, and he can't beat a DECENT OLINEMAN!!!

"What have we learned?" We learned that the NY Giants, as an ORGANIZATION, thinks it's still 1925, and the past is all it has to look forward to. We also learned that Thibs is not that dude. Go NY.

Commanders cut the penalties in half and they have a few TD's instead of FG's and the kicker issue becomes mute. Giants defense couldn't stop a nose bleed!

Re: Gano: Isn’t a shorter kick off perfect for the new format? Kick it into the run back zone etc?

@@theodoremorehouse6460 It is, but do you want the risk of him chasing down returners if the coverage breaks down? Plus save his leg.

we learned that this team still needs to move on from dj, needs to potentially move on from bowen if his defense continues to look like this, not overpay for players who haven't proven they are a top player at their position, and have a head coach be prepared and not have bone headed mistakes cost us a potential win

I thought we learned that DJ played well in his 2nd game back from acl.

@@Joe-xg3pj 0/4 on 20+ yard passes, 3/10 on 10+ yard passes. Outside of nabers had 51 total passing yards. Most of djs yards are from nabers yac. Barely completed over 50% of passes against one of the worst secondaries in the league. Jones didn’t play terrible nor did he lose us this game but we played one of the worst defenses and he barely put up ok stats. Let’s see what he can do against a great defense in the browns

The Giants will sign Randy Bullock if they place Graham Gano on the season-ending IR.
@SandBox830Ай бұрын
Daboll is not a good HC as he is making very bad pregame and in-game head scratching decisions. The Gano thing is just the latest kerfuffle in a long list of them. You'd think in his 3rd year, he would have figured out how to prepare this team in the off-season as they don't look ready to play when it counts. Practice means NOTHING. Jones wears a red shirt all week and looks like a rookie when he's not (no disrespect for rookies). Only the Giants could have a much improved OL...and still keep losing games. So now what's going to be the excuse? (it doesn't help when the HC is a bone head). As the Giants keep losing and the pressure keeps building, it will be interesting to see how Daboll reacts. His personality doesn't fit the NY market. Once the media turns on him (you are already seeing signs of that questioning his job security), it is over.
@theodoremorehouse6460Ай бұрын
It isn’t Jones vs Lock etc . Of course the QB of the future is nothin the roster. It still needs to be need nimber 1. Then go all defense

@fkyofellings5709Ай бұрын
@@LockedOnGiantsNFL that could be true but my point is there's been no Super Bowl that we've been in other then in 2000,that fans and media has called for a coach fired or QB booed. If it was up to the media or fans, Parcells would've been fired before we win two. Coughlin, was on the hot seat then won and back on the hot seat and won again, then back on the hot seat until fired and we haven't found a coach. I don't even have to speak about how Sims and Eli.
