I wantes any of the top 3 WR's in this draft above all else. But lets be honest, you could find wr talent in the later rounds whereas starting caliber offensive lineman seem to almost have to be picked in round 1. This is a solid pick up. Id rather fashanu than bowers imo. I definitely think JD will try and use the picks he got to move back up in the 2nd round and select a wr. JD is always active on draft days. Somehow all the trades he's made he's always won. Watch out for him on day 2. Happy with the pick. LGJ

Richie, Bowers would've been a luxury pick. Offense Tackle was a long term need. If you don't have a good offensive line, it doesn't doesn't matter the rest of your team looks like. It starts and ends there.

its the right pick. In the event one of our tackles go down we have insurance now. Don't need to play musical chairs with AVT at tackle. He's an elite pass blocker but struggles in the run and that can be coached around. When we run to his side go heavy personnel with a tight end and a fullback. Now let's get a receiver day 2. I'd be happy with the jets getting someone like corley who can be a step up gadget player from Gipson or a downfield threat like franklin. Not necessarily guys who will transform the receiver room, but they'll give williams and wilson more flexibility to play to their strengths. This team if healthy can be f'ing DANGEROUS.

I know O line isn’t the sexy pick that may want on day 1, but it’s the best move for the short term and the long term. We’ve seen what happens when we don’t invest enough in protecting our win-now franchise QB. We also know that we have a relatively young team and Rogers won’t be with us forever. Investing in our O line through the draft sets us up so we won’t implode in the post Aaron era

W pick. The one thing we are sure of is that our oline will probably get hurt at some point in the season. He was a necessary pick. This is a deep WR draft and you can always find that puka nacua type of guy later in the draft. I rather have Olu come back us up then have a pile of bums from the 3rd 4th rounds like we have been doing the past few years.
