He needs to be in the mix he shouldn’t be penciled in for a spot. We should have five guys we expect to be in there and at least two backups and then Sproat. If he pitches his way into the five great more likely natural attrition will give him a slot but he shouldn’t be expected for anything’s but 8th guy out at a minimum I am hoping he is more our 9th or 10th option because that is the depth you need

Why consider Lopez or Boyd as number five pitchers, when they already have Peterson. I’m hoping Manea is number four, Senga is number three and they get two front end starters. Plus, hopefully add the new Japanese pitcher as well.
