As an officers wife I’ve had the great privilege and misfortune of attending multiple funerals for police officers. There is nothing like being surrounded by thousands and thousands of uniformed officers mourning one of our own. The atmosphere is incredible. Weve even had officers come down from Canada to show their respects. LEO life is not easy but the way the community comes together in tough times is unlike anything I’ve ever experienced, even in the ARMY. So glad you all had such a fabulous trip, it was really fun to see you and Amelia getting on so well ❤ Edited to add: yes I know this was FDNY but it’s very similar. They’re our respected friends and extended family

I appreciate the respect shown for the FDNY Fire Marshal’s funeral. Line of Duty funerals for both FDNY and NYPD are indeed a large scale event in the City of New York. Services are sometimes held at St. Patrick’s, with the surrounding area being closed to traffic. There would be firefighters there from all five boroughs that make up NYC, as they are all part of the very large FDNY. And not unusual for firefighters from other states to attend as well. ❤

My son has very bad eczema and this year in New York with the heat and humidity, it has been the worst that it has ever been.I mean nightmare city.He's been using his prescription eczema cream like almost ev😮ery other day

Hi. Hope you found something at a pharmacy for relief. That’s awful to feel uncomfortable and be so far away from home. The only thing they could recommend for you here is non prescription. Thanks for sharing your trip. So funny that I live 30 minutes from all the places you visited but have never been to most of them. I don’t care for Manhattan. I guess when you live somewhere your entire life, you view it differently. Hope you enjoyed your time here. ❤
