Wow Don I love how you told the controller you’ll give him 8k fpm descent when the vnav didn’t engage 😂😂😂 and then you cleaned up 8 thousand feet in less than 2 min like it was nothing! Calm cool and collected that was awesome you rock!

Jaime, HondaJet took care of the logo. It was a decal. I would definitely contact them. There is a limit to the size it can be. Ask them. Don

Why in the world wouldn’t you just get IFR clearance on the ground?

Funny you should ask. It was because NY Tracon makes you go about 80 miles East and then turns you back, 180 degrees to go West. It is an incredible waste of fuel and time. So on a short flight, I elected to go legally VFR to a point and then pick up my IFR from there. I got the idea from a FAA friend of mine. Totally legit and saved me about 40% of the time for this flight. I did post a video on the "fish hook" routing NY Tracon demand of Westbound pilots. Lots of fun, in the NY Tracon area.
