🖤 JEONBOKJUK RECIPE
You’ll need;
1.5 cup rice
3 abalones
1/2 onion
1/2 carrot
3 tablespoons of perilla seed oil
Toasted Sesame seed
Salt-cured egg yolks
1. Wash and Soak the rice for about 30 minutes and drain
2. Chop onion and carrot into small pieces
3. Clean and thinly slice the abalone (make sure to keep the intestine and chop the intestine, I recommend you to use kitchen scissors in a bowl)
4. Put perilla seed oil into a pot and stir fry the chopped intestine in low heat and then add the abalone meat
5. If you want to put the garnish on the porridge, Set aside a few pieces of the meat once it's cooked, if not then keep everything in the pot and put the rice
6. Stir fry the rice until it starts to release the starch, and start to add water about 1/2cup at a time until the rice is soft and reaches your preferred consistency (make sure to keep stirring the porridge)
7. Garnish with sesame seed, stir-fried abalone meat, and salt-cured egg yolks if you like(or you can put extra perilla seed oil on top)
