The New York Wind Symphony, in its 24th season, with principal conductor, Richard F. Regan, performs "Harvest" Concerto by Mackey. Special guest trombone soloist, is internationally acclaimed, Joseph Alessi. Performed October, 2013 in Central Valley, Orange County, New York.

when my professor was learning this piece he said he contacted Joe and asked how he phrased and breathed because he was struggling to figure it out, Joe said he doesn't know because he literally changes it every time he plays.

Sometimes my perfect pitch has trouble figuring out what notes Joseph Alessi is playing. His high range is absolutely wonderful and he makes it look so effortless that my brain fails to realize just how high he’s actually playing. 😂 A phenomenal trombonist that I really hope to meet someday.
