I don't know if we want to push our starters when our relievers have been looking good. Holmes is a different story. He's giving up way too many hits and runs. I'm in favor of looking for a better closer. Holmes can't be on that mound if anyone is on base.

@benwilson6559 Don't be so soft. He's only pitched in 5 innings, already blew a save, he's given up 7 hits while striking out only 2. He gave up 3 runs, not including the ones he inherited. If there are runners on base when he comes in, you might as well count those on the board. Teams are hitting him. We have to be up by 2 with no runners on base in the 9th for him to have a chance. But you haven't noticed that.

Their bullpen has a lot of middle of the road guys. Luke weaver hasnt been a good starter in a while, and i dont think hes a bad pickup, but 2nd and 3rd time through the order, he starts allowing fly balls. Holmes is a sinkerballer more than a closer, and hes been allowing tons of hard grounders and liners. Not sure what theyre gonna do to fix it.

As a Jays fan, I'm sick of seeing Vladdy either stand there at the plate watching the ball, thinking it's a homer or when the team is down and he tries to shush the crowd with his stupid celebration when the team is down by a lot of runs. Celebrate when you win the game, how about that. The jays are a losing team right now and should focus more on getting some much needed wins instead of crap like that. Get a streak going. I know it is the beginning of the season but they did that a lot last year, especially Vladdy. I get trying to pump up your team but there is a big difference between pumping up your team and being stupid cocky when your losing. I can see the jays finishing last or second last this season unless they change a few players attitudes, or just trade them off.
