Sampled this on my skin this weekend, smelled really nice but I got very weak projection from it. Did not push off my skin at all. Sample first because for an elixir (and $180) I would expect a lot better than this.

Hi Maxxx ❣️ I love blues 💙 ones! I owm YSL Y Parfume ♂️ and I love this fragrance endlessly! Can't wait to try L'Elixir since I tried Intense and I like it as well and Intense ⚡ is apparently closer to L'Elixir 😊 But I have to say my favourite 💙 Blues goes to Chanel Blue EDP or Parfume ♂️ Can't wait to try new release...❣️

I find YSL Y Elixir nicely woody, sligthly soapy, slightly powdery... with no trace of green or herbal notes. Very fine fragrance indeed. Its price is exorbitant, though. As is the one of every Elixir flanker currently available !

If it smells similar to Y Le Parfum, (as you mention below) I’m even more interested in this. If it is, and lasts a little longer I’m totally interested. I also love Eau Fraiche. :)

Im not sure why people dislike this. Im not a fan of ysl at all. This however was a must grab after testing at macys. Perfect for any season and any situation. Definitely not one dimensional either. This lasts on skin for 18 hours. The opening is amazing with the green component. The drydown is even better. Not a sillage monster but Definitely projects well

From my sampling, this fragrance simple doesn't last long enough for the price. Y esp last twice as long for half the cost. I do really like the smell and feel it really suits me. Idk ill probably get it anyway. 🤷🏿‍♂️

Love Y Eau Fraiche. My most refreshing hot weather scent. Shame it’s discontinued, I guess it makes it more unique in my collection cause in a couple years, almost nobody will wear it.

I have the EDP. It’s a very dense fragrance that doesn’t change all that much until about 3 hours in and then it just smells of dense lavender. I do get a lot of compliments when I wear it, but I don’t enjoy the experience.

I find it to be close to the intense in the opening, and as it drys down, it reminds me of the EDP. I get that companies are trying to run a business and profit is important. But I think the price point on this one is getting a little silly.. at least, with savauge it changed the DNA enough to where it was something a little bit more unique, to me this one is just a blend of the intense and the dry down of the EDP but we all get different things that’s the beauty of Fragrances! Great review man, one of the best in the game!

I dont know why but with every single Y fragrance smells better on someone else than on myself. From a distance it smells good but if i wear it and smell it close im not a big fan of the Y's. The current YSL prices are insane especially the Y line and Myself. In my opinion L'Homme and La Nuit are still their best offerings.

I'm on my 2nd-3rd day wearing this elixir and I still favor the Le Parfum over this. This elixir does not project after 1-1:30 hours after first spraying. It sits close to the skin. For a title of "Elixir" to me it is not worth it. When I think of "elixir" you should choke the people in the room if you spray it 5 times. This is really just another parfum version as it behaves as such. Projects for 1-2 hours max then sits close and are the richest smelling of their collection. It don't smell bad at all, but very basic and generic as the whole Y line does for me.

Comparing to Dior elixir is meh. Dior Elixir for the price gives you god performance and longevity so people are usually satisfied with the purchase. This fragrance barely lasts 6hours and dior elixir is still nothing like YSL. YSL is way too fresh and Dior is way darker. Given Gucci Elixir has great performance while still offering something fresh, unique and pleasant. YSL played it way too safe and most elixirs have been bold and risk taking which i enjoyed.

I blind bought a 10 milliliter bottle of ysl y l'elixir for 50 bucks. very glad i didn't spend more money on this very bad perfume. worst of all y perfumes and only lasts an hour on my skin, after that it's barely noticeable. it was the same for my friends who got to test it.
