The most underrated aspect of the new evil hero support imo is that bc we now have a super versatile starter/extender in Assualt that requires any discard. It let's us play more restrictive board breakers (Evenly, DRNM) at minimal cost. If they're in our hand going first, that just becomes our discard. Same thing that old PUNK lists did, bc any card was required to discard to Foxy Tune.

Honestly the way the support is shaping up to be this deck potentially can function on its own outside of omni hero. We just need another disruptive boss fusion monster and another extra hero link to help extend like a foolish burial and a search for a card that mentions dark fusion in its text would be cracked. It locks you into heroes of course. And honestly evil hero infernal prodigy is now mr.underrated.

Great video! I have a few questions - 1. Why cut liquid soldier? It may just be personal preference but one of the best combos I know (AHL + Faris/Denier/Malicious -> DPE, Plasma, Dark Law, SNW, & Sunrise) uses liquid soldier as a combo piece to get Plasma & it’s draw 2 discard 1 has come up occasionally. 2. What do you think of running Malicious Bane & Dark Contact and putting Dark Supremacy in the side deck for going second versions? I’ve been having a lot of fun with a HERO deck very similar to your most recent deck list where you just go second all the time and in my testing on nexus it seems to work well. I’m yet to try Neos Lord yet but it seems cool too. 3. This is somewhat unrelated but I can’t decide whether I want droll & lock bird in my side deck or main deck because I just got it yesterday. In a deck where you want to be going second most of the time would you consider it in main? 4. What are your thoughts on playing 2 polymerization, especially in higher count decklists? I prefer two and never understood only playing one but maybe you have some useful insight. (This question was edited in as I realized I forgot to put it in the original comment) If you made it this far thanks for reading my interrogation of a comment 😂. Been looking forward to this video and will definitely help me improve ratios for testing. thw liquid one is simple and people called me crazy, but essentially its a brick and no one can convince me otherwise. If its not that crucial as I can sub it then goodbye, also if you say its not a brick then tell me, draw liquid and 4 useless cards, what is your combo?

@@dxfenrir2429 I fully agree that on its own it doesn’t do much of anything, but a lot of HERO cards are like that anyway (i.e Shadow Mist & Plasma, even Stratos pre-evil HEROes won’t do much without another HERO or polymerization.) Imo each card has different purposes which come up at different times. Shadow Mist is for dark law or a search, Plasma’s a one-sided SD but you need 3 tributes, Liquid Soldier is follow up or a combo extender. I’ve watched some videos because apparently this is a big topic all of a sudden and one of the points I see for keeping LS is drawing into side cards which I fully agree with. I am intrigued by the idea of cutting down on some engine but don’t see myself cutting LS unless there’s a reason other than it not being a starter because of its utility outside of starting combos. It’s won me a few games here and there. If it’s more starters you want I’d just play E-Call and use it to search Stratos. I’m not trying to sound rude or like I think somebody’s deck is worse for not playing LS, I like when people have their own unique opinions on decks and ratios and stuff, I just don’t understand the reasoning behind cutting LS since all I’ve heard is it’s a brick so far.

1. I actually cut liquid soldier even now. I have a full detailed discussion coming but basically he is not needed and the kuriboh is a guranteed interrupt instead of hoping to draw nonengine. That combo doesn’t come up enough to warrant the addition of liquid. 2. I think this is def an option. I would prolly try to play bane if I play dark contact. In the main. Neos lord is very good and I would def play him for when we get stormed or dustered. 3. I think droll is not a very good card against the meta decks but you should always build to your environment, if it’s good against the deck at locals def play it. Even in HERO which is not bad going 2nd you def still want to go first tho. 4. You can play 2, I like it but the problem is it’s a conditional extender, post new support you have a good extender in evil assault that is always good and you don’t need the conditional extenders I don’t think. This could always change tho. I always enjoy answering questions! I have a Q&A coming up in a few weeks in another discord where you guys can come in and ask me questions like this and I can better explain things like this. I think you can play 3 evil assault but I would rather start with it than adusted gold. I hope this helps and yes I’m very excited! 2k this quickly is awesome and I appreciate everyone that enjoys my content!

Late to the party for me, but Blake hero once again cooking up some fire combos for heroes with the new support. Curious if a pure Jaden deck is possible with the new support in any way, but it seems like the destiny/vision heroes are just too good not to use. Keep up the great videos!

This support is great for facilitating already existing pieces of support for the HERO archetype. A Jaden only deck would be cool for casual play but for competitive play the Destiny HEROs and especially the Vision HEROs are way too important to get to poly. Thank you for watching and commenting!

And the new Neos Lord has a drak attribute... so now we can summon him after Fusion Destiny. 3x Fusion Destiny + 3x Neos Fusion in the main deck?) mb it's a meme but sounds funny

Honestly the deck is in a much worse spot in the OCG sadly. You really need 3 mali for a lot of these combos. I would maybe look into playing a bigger Evil HERO package.

We cannot, unfortunately doom prison has to replace a specific material listed and cannot replace an "Elemental HERO with different attributes"

I'm very interested to see how these can help unbrick hands (rather than brick them). I like that Gold can search the spell! Makes Stratos an even more compelling normal summon. The Vyon lines are exciting too. Much better than just using dangerous to either get DPE or Favorite Contact

Evil Assault makes Adusted Gold and Stratos into 1 (or 1.5) card starters, you definitely want to max on them.

I can def see that! I wanted to fit 42 in this list and something has to give. I’m basically playing 3 copies with the 1 adusted and 2 evil assault. I could see on maxing out on the evil assault but with if you are going for the combo to search the trap you need to not start with adusted. Stratos and vyon also grab the adusted in the combo which is why I like at least playing 1 copy. This could change tho! This was just my first thoughts. At a certain point the extenders become redundant tho but maybe we cut down on normal summons to play the extra evil assault. I just wanted to play 3 Stratos as he is an elemental hero with a different attribute than light. I hope this helps! Thank you for watching and commenting dude!

12:21 I’m not sure this is the right thing to showcase though. Using Ash on the copy of increase is incorrect. Someone who knows what they’re doing would use it on Vyon when it tries to search polymerization to deny the poly.

If you watch my other videos, I actually do play 2 increase at the moment. Post SUDA we get another way to play that does not rely on increase, yes if you draw it you will be more normal summon reliant now but I would still rather play less bricks. Thank you for watching and commenting!

I really don't like the one increase, you just lose to yourself if you draw it, the cut of liquid isn't terrible but I like that draw plus discard. I prefer much more a 60 card list with more names (that are starters) and non-engine that can make you go over the handtraps or block your opponent too

Drawing the increase isn’t the end of the world. It means you can’t use Faris, but the deck has more than just Faris now.

@@jacobjensen7704 okay and? just because you can do other things too doesn't mean that you have to cancel yourself half of your usual combo, the faris combo is still a big part of what the deck does to reach what you want, 1 increase has no sense

I think because the vyon by itself and AHL combo both work when you draw the one increase it’s not the worst. Something has to give when trying to keep the deck at the deck space that I like and that was unfortunately one of the concessions I had to make. Evil assault giving us another way to play without normal summoning is like another copy of faris that works even if you draw the increase. I hope this makes sense and this is just my first draft/ideas. If I need to explain any thing better please look for my announcement on my Q&A and I can hopefully explain it better there!
