Mandy, there is an air pocket at the top/bottom of the can. You just slide a butter knife down the side to the bottom of the can to release the air. The sauce will just slide out of the can perfectly. It, also, works on the jelly so you can slice it neatly on your serving dish. Was raised near the Cranberry Capital, Carver, MA. It is quite a sight to watch them harvest the berries. Enjoy!❤

I make my own as did my mom. I have never eaten canned cranberry sauce. It is really ray to do whether it us whole berry or no berry (my favorite) and you can add orange, spices etc...personally I like it just cranberries, sugar & water.

6:17 according to Ocean Spray that air pocket in the can is there to make easy for the sauce to come out intact and not all broken up. As for apricot and caramel either pronunciations are right.

We have huge cranberry bogs here in Warren Wisconsin too I Love them , a lady I know makes cranberry everything, cranberry potpourri , candles, oils, sprays, oh the smell is amazing.

Here is an easy recipe: Little Smokey's heated in pepper jelly, I used red pepper and jalapeno pepper jelly (half jar of each). Nice spice and pretty with the red and green. You could use a whole jar of the red pepper jelly and dice up the jalapeno and put in.

That is so the cranberry cans can be stacked easily. If you poke a hole with an old fashion bottle opener in the 'bottom' of the cranberry can, doesn't matter which type, it slides out easier. HA! And using the damp towel trick, love it. I'm sure more people than just myself mentioned it. Another great vid.

I was just thinking about needing some inspiration for holiday foods, and POOF, here's Mandy! We got a bunch of snow here in northern Michigan, so I think I'm going to hop on my snowmobile and ride down to our little grocery store in town. The roads have been plowed, but they leave a shoulder for snowmobiles during the winter. Hi Mandy and Steven. I enjoy your videos so very much. I’ve been binging on your programs lately to distract me from some issues. On No 16 I had my right hip replaced. Went home the afternoon of No 18, fell in the middle of the night and went to the hospital in an ambulance. I’ve been here ever since because I broke a bone in my pelvis. Edit: I made the cheese spread, the caramel cream cheese dip and the meatballs. They all three were a hit. And each took minimum time to make. Hey Mandy just a little tip for you if you get a can of something and it won't come out like you did with the cranberry take one of those old can openers that just punches a hole & puncture a hole in the opposite end and it will slide right out like butter, it will also work for the canned soups. 👩‍🦳😁💜
