They've confirmed there will be no international students coming in until next year. At this stage it looks doubtful that it will even be in the first quarter of 2021. They've advised all educators and have made financial compensation available to some institutions. Both political parties are adamant that our borders must stay locked down, and the priority is the overwhelming numbers of New Zealanders that are returning here. We don't have unlimited quarantine facilities available.

Hello, I’m a soon to be college graduate here in the States. I’ve been looking into a work visa for New Zealand in the field of Medical Laboratory Science. I graduate with a bachelors degree in December of this year (2020). Ive done some research and my degree is in high demand in New Zealand. I plan on taking my boards in January 2021 so I have my ASCP certification. How best should I go for applying for a work visa? Should I apply for jobs first and then a visa?
