Wow this looks so fun! How many can say they have ridden a bicycle on tracks? Such beautiful scenery too. However, I would have a hard time not thinking that a train might come along. LoL. Especially in that tunnel. Cool and scary at the same time!

I feel Geoff's frustration over the land slides as it would have been so cool had it been a true loop rather than a there and back, but I dread to think of the cost to get it back into a usable state. It looks like such an awesome activity, I love it when you find really unique things when travelling and you just think, no where else, or very few other places in the world let you do this. Couldn't help but chuckle at 11:22 where you feel like 'a lot of other people' on a beach is how many people were there... Any of the beaches within commutable distance on a lovely sunny, warm enough for shorts kind of weather day would be heaving. If I could find one as quiet as that one, I'd be SO happy!

Yeah it's such a shame that the track has fallen off the cliff, hopefully one day we'll see the loop completed or another railbikes track set up somewhere else in the country! We're definitely spoilt for choice when it comes to the beaches too!

After watching this I was inspired to visit Gisborne and try it out. Flagship food big as YUM and the coffee superb. The rail ebike adventure with Geoff, well it was freaking awesome and he is just the nicest person full of knowledge. I’ll keep watching more of your adventures for more travel ideas around NZ. Wow, this is great! I have done a lot of rail biking here in the USA, and we do have rental 4 place peddle carts around here, but what you have there is a large cut above them. Great idea to use ebikes! I have managed to adapt my Lectric ebike to ride on rails; if I had a riding partner, we could think about something similar. Looks like you had a wonderful time, I am envious.
