Gratitude for your efforts and sharing with us. Of course no government would ever lie about something. Reminds me of the old forestry worker I met in Southland, as a boy, he found mummies in a cave, and doesn't share it with many people. There's been a much longer human history here than acknowledged and taught. I doubt the truth will ever be allowed to be found

Hi Terry, well done, a big effort for you and your wife 👍👍. The stones that have the Celtic spiral are definitely pre Maori, the Greek's , Vikings and Egyptians all got here before the Chinese brought Maori here. This government doesn't want to deal with anything pre Maori 🙄 . That would be the end if their bullshit claims... Also Maori have threatening the governments of NZ for the last 100 years. Those same stones and petroglyph designs are found across various Melanesian Islands. Those Islands have been inhabited by the same people for 4000+years. Māori are genetically half Melanesian (Papuan). Māori also worked with stone structures (regardless how much Euro's try to deny it) and the remaining evidence is scattered across the country. I you looked down from where you were standing in Manu Bay, you might have seen the resident huge stingray. It sucks up all the fish bits that are dumped off the boats that use the boat ramp. A hundred years ago, Stonehenge was just a load of old rocks in a field next to a country road. Now a major tourist attraction. Makes me wonder why someone hasn't cashed in on the real history of NZ, or have they tried, and been warned off? You wouldn't last long as a pig hunter in the Coromandel Terry. Looks nice from the road, but an awful place to crash through since the Forest Service/ DOC exterminated the wild goats.

Yes, I would make a terrible pig hunter; I would get lost in the first five minutes. Going down that hill was an example of that. We started down that hill waiting for the grass to come, but it didn't come. The hill soon turned into a cliff of sorts with boulders poking out everywhere. We had go down on our asses for much of the way. (My wife said she will never go with me on these adventures again) The under-growth was as thick as hell, and we had push through it because there was no way back as that would have been harder. Finally, I saw some gum trees in the distance, so I knew we were getting to farmland again. Once we reached there, we found our way back quite easily. But we still were a long way away from our car. Most of our problems that day were caused by me not bothering to get permission from the farmer. We went the long way around to get there and back all to avoid meeting the farmer.

That's what these folk are saying but there is zero archaeological and genetic evidence. The same spiral petroglyphs are found in the Melanesian Islands and those islands have been inhabited for 4000+ years. NZ Māori are genetically half Melanesian (Papuan). Māori worked with stone structures (a fact many Europeans try to deny to fit their narrative). Early settlers in NZ had a blast when they took the land...those explosives sure came in handy for those ancient sites. Stone structures are found in NZ and right across the Polynesian Islands. Tonga, Cook Islands, Samoa, Tahiti etc. Many non-Māori are going out of their way to discredit Māori history which is a shame...but certainly not a surprise considering certain people have that need to feel superior at all cost. The true hidden history is covering up who Māori really are and what ancient group of people they actually belong to...and it's biblical, literally!

@@ivymeganmedicinewoman Polynesian migration to NZ occured through the millennia. @terryopines8001 Жыл бұрын
Matthew, we started out for Raglan at 5am so we couldn't see exactly why the roads were blocked; it could have been because of the cyclone or it could have been normal road maintenance. Our GPS directed us via Otorohanga (the back way to Raglan) so we didn't have a clue where we were going. And when road signed said 'Detour' we really struggled to see where we were going. The GPS would eventually send us the right way through the detours but we really had no clue where we were. And the detours seemed to go forever. I found out later from a friend that going via Te Awamutu was the fastest way to get there.

When it comes to verbal history it is subject to additions and fantasies of the teller to each telling. Solid written history is not subject to the same corruption. Even the name for New Zealand they are pushing is corrupted along with songs etc. The language is corrupted. You only have to look at the lengh of time they supposedly were here for and the fact in all that time they did not evolve until they intergated with outside people and knowledge.
