The devs definitely saw people like to find unconventional and unintended solutions to problems in BotW and 100% played into that. They give you a bunch of tools perfect for doing just that and practically tell you to do it. It's genius.

It's not too difficult if you have access to a depot that drops small wheels. You need: 1x big rectangular panel, 2x small rectangular panels, 2x square panels, 2x beams, 1x steering stick, 8x small wheels, 1 or 2x batteries, 1x sled, 1x construct head and 1x cannon. Just make sure the steering stick doesn't have a panel right on top of it because Link won't be able to use the steering stick that way. There are stone panels in the depths and metal panels are available on death mountain.

Theres potential here for some next level DLC from Nintendo here me out 1. Set wheel speeds(and or faster wheels) 2. Control individual devices rather than themm all activating at once if connected 3. Buttons levers for number 2 4. What is that core(long cylindrical device with rotating spikes) for that drops from the sky arena bosses. That could be used as a kind of power core similar to the batteries. 5. QOF ability to hide the connective green goo. 6. More devices obviously

I actually built a tank myself. But it was MUCH smaller, and less badass xD Little drone thing, the sentry head and a cannon or flamethrower. Autonomous Drone Tank! =D Doesn't last very long considering I still the base battery segments, so if I don't pack some portable batteries, some are nearby. Or I don't feel like using a TON of Zonai Charges. It really only works for breaching encampments, and maybe some cleaning up at the end.

The rail shrine, I just built a box under the long metal slab where the slab just rests on the outer rails. The box then grabs the central rails and can't fall off when the outer ones drop off. Fans for movement.
