Thanks for the video. I had the same issue with my Garmin foot pod that I've used for years on treadmills with the various Garmin watches I've had. Doing cadence drills on the treadmill, in particular, really throws things out of whack and makes footpods all but useless. I had the same treadmill as you do here. It finally gave out and I picked up a Sole F80 that has bluetooth built in - connects right to Zwift. I only use the Zwift runpod to record cadence now.

I agree that your result shows how unaccurate can the Runpod be at some higher speeds, but at lower speed it only tells us that treadmill and pod matche... it does not tell us if speed is accurate since the treadmill could be in need for a calibration. We don't know if the treadmill speed is accurate... But, ok, ok, if we don't fall into those considerations, the video was usefull.

I ran with the zswift runpod and the treadmill had me running at 9:30 pace at 6.2 miles an hour. Seem more accurate. In the zswift app I saw my pace fluctuating between 10:30 pace within sec it jump to 11:30 pace even though I was running at the same speed using the runpod. I calibrated the runpod twice and experienced same issue

I just got my foot pod. Extremely disappointed. I’m a getting off my couch after having open heart surgery 3 years ago. I wanted to start with some walking and light jogging. Current walking 2.5mph and jogging 3.5-4mph is about my comfort zone. This pod won’t even calibrate on screen less than 4 mph. Fine I pushed myself to near injury just to calibrate. Then jogging 3.5 shows walking 2.2. I did 2 miles on my treadmill for 1.5 on screen. I had to hit 4.5mph pace just to even see my avatar briefly jog. Total waste of money.

Returned it. Ordered the Runn sensor.

Thanks for watching. I agree it will not calibrate at that speed.
