I have a newage wayfinder 13ft (windup roof camper trailer) so a bit hard to upgrade for my airconditioner and microwave, but if I ever upgrade to a bigger van, I'm off to SA to see you guys (I live in the innerwest of Sydney) I fully understand the BMPro and am I'm amazed at how inadequate an Oz product is compared to other options. (Victron is my favourite) - I also see the hard part is figuring out the wiring of a van to be able to isolate the fridge, water heater and batt charging. Also, trying to fit an inverter with a transfer switch into an existing van would be a challenge. Greate videos

Thanks for your feedback. Every caravan is different and NewAge now use the 240v Aerial power interface system. If you have the correct parts, the interfacing isn’t too difficult. Time consuming, Yes.

Hey mate thanks for the knowledgeable vid yet again. Why don’t you ever wire the solar panels in parallel to avoid shading issues you encounter in series wired panels?

We do, it completely depends on the shade issues and amount of energy we need to pull off the roof. It will vary job to job. But if there are zero shade issues, you will greatly benefit from a higher voltage and lower amperage with solar yield over the day. It will start charging very early in the morning and very late at night. 5v over the 13.2v and its on.

Wondering what weight that adds overall to the van? We have essentially same van and were only 12kg off GVM when weighed as packed for a trip.
