Should have mentioned the Magnets on her feet that help with a lot of balance issues and allow for really awesome poses. Amazon sells really cheap Universal Mount Metal Plates used for cell phones that come in 14 packs for $5 that work great for this.

I just got mine. (My first 'Legend' scale fig). Very good looking. So tiny! LOL. Robot mode is a bit fiddly.. takes a fair bit of adjustment to pose without slightly untransforming her. The head/torso/hips/backpack tends to unfold when you reposition her. Very cool though, and I love the box art. GIRLS GET IT DONE! 💓

They're not suppose to. Bobby didn't correct transform correctly. You need to peg in the chest with two little pegs until you hear a click

You can leave the open hands on for transformation and if you do it just right there is clearance to roll.

I think t might be impossible b/c of her hand size, but what it they had an open/close hand Ike some of the Newage Constructicons. I know she can technically transform into alt mode with the flat palm hands. If they gave her hinged hand, that might have done the trick. If anybody ever get I. Contact with Newage via their social media, give them the idea. They really listen to their fans and sometimes release alternate legs, etc. to satisfy their customers.

Big plus for the way the backpack was engineered, but sadly, taken away from the lake of ankle pivot. I think I still pick this figure up. It looks fantastic! I'm still impressed with how well everything tucks into the backpack without being too bulky!

Love this little lady, though couldn't agree more with the ankles. She can pull a mean pose and is nice and stable, but not having the feet be able to tilt into believable poses and always having one side tilted up/off the ground is a bit of a pain. Think I'm gonna double-dip on this mold and at least get Solus Prime, and maybe Lifeline as well. Cheers.

Some of the engineering on these legends figures is downright magical. Is there any reason the engineering can’t be scaled up to MP? I know the ball joints would need to go, and maybe that’s the reason, just curious.

Magic Square is upscaling another prime. It is possible but there is not enough incentives for legend companies when they can pump out so many amounts of many characters at the legend scale so quickly

Wow. I am amazed at how they tackled her backpack. If I was Takara I would look at this and take notes. I wonder if they could upscale it and fix the issues it has in a larger scale. They would have to tweak the alt mode top, but I think the hard part is already thought out. That is some cleverness indeed. Great review.

🤯Wow.... just wow. I usually like legends, I don't collect them but like seeing you review then. I find them usually pretty "neat" ... but this Arcee is quite amazing. Would luv to see this figure be upscaled, id buy her.

Oooo I've been eagerly waiting for you to review her (didn't know she was already out though lol). Flaws you mentioned are all things I can live with, but am happy to know about ahead of time. Don't plan on getting the basic Arcee but I'm absolutely getting the Solus Prime repaint (Outside of the Soundwaves, I've been using Newage to get representations of specific decos/characters I either can't get or don't feel the need to have at a larger scale, or as an occasional accent piece for a focused shelf). Crazy to me that a company making legends figured out how to finally do Arcee's backpack that looks pretty much like it should form G1. Yet no one at the MP scale has figured this out yet. I'm not much for KO's but if someone makes an upscale MP version. Damn, I'd almost get it.

Oh Man! That leg peg is enough to throw the whole figure in the trash! Why would they do that? Doesn't even seem overly necessary to the transformation. Usually I dislike how Arcee's transformation is accomplished by a bunch of panels folding around her body, and this one is very clever and different so props for that. However, the cost is that the alt mode looks bad, too many lines and visible hinges. Looks like it's assembled from Lego. The robot mode looks great though! I guess that's why these other problems are so disappointing. Just my two cents tho... Anyway, thanks for the great video, as always!

Look up the Dr. Wu Amie. Cost less and is all around better in my opinion. The face sculpt is the only weakness. They didn't paint the lips.
