After eight years, I managed to get one of the dual action pulls. Once I get back from vacation, I’ll be sure to do a video on it

Not a good idea. The panel has a charger built in. Connecting the 9 volts would cause them to explode. You can't pump voltage strait into most batteries. You just have to get the right kind of rechargeable ones!

Always wondered how those stations worked.
@22408aaron11 жыл бұрын
uhh car batteries are very expensive, very big and heavy, and they would not charge with the panel because the panel does not supply that much MA. And if the panel does use the battery, it probably would fry the panel

I have. My elementary school, before putting in a new Simplex addressable system, had Simplex 4050s and 4050-80s, and gray Wheelock 7004t's in high noise areas (the music room and the cafeteria).

I have an idea for how to remove all troubles from the MS-2. Tape some 9-volt batteries together and connect them with tape on the top and it should work.

7002T's come in 24V and 12V apparently. I happen to have a 12V one. And for some strange reason, when I apply 24V to it (actually 27V, because it's three 9 volt batteries connected in a chain), the 7002t goes erratically fast. It's very unusual. But when I go back to 18V, it acts "normal" again haha. Weird. Maybe it's how the 7002T was designed, but quote me if I'm wrong. I'm gonna assume that's a 24V 7002T you have. But that's kinda interesting how there's 2 voltage variants of the 7002T.
