Just recently discovered this zip knife. Been using cable cold knife for 18 years and I gotta say the zip knife is the bomb. Money well spent!!!

I’m curious on the power of the milwaukee cut out tool, has it worked on cutting out truck windshield on old trucks like Silverado’s or old power stroke trucks with rock hard urethane?
@luv2bachristian3 жыл бұрын
As a glass installer myself, all vehicles use urethane with a few exceptions of some using a gasket to seal the window in place.
@marilynmonbro353 жыл бұрын
@@luv2bachristian Yea everything after the 80's uses urethane but I'm thinking of those hard to work on cars, like old farm trucks that havent had the windshield removed since 2001, soo the urethane is literally rock hard "Or just very cold like 20 degrees outside" to the point where it snaps steel wire.
@FuckedVEVO3 жыл бұрын
@@marilynmonbro35 if it's snapping your metal wire its most likely getting stuck ok the top corners of the pinch weld ...metal wire should do the job regardless oh how old the urithane is

Hello sir, awesome channel. Kind of inspired me to learn more about automotive glass work. I have one quick question. I have a cracked windshield on my civic and a friend of mine has a perfect windshield on his broken civic. I'd like to remove it but I don't have any of the tools in hand. Is there a way? Thanks
@NEWAutoGlass7 жыл бұрын
fly tux tools like WRD wire tool is good but it costs $500 and it takes experienced technicians to do that because one small mistake and that's it. It will brake. I would recommend calling auto Glass shop in your area and asking them but no shop can guarantee that it won't break.

Добрый день! а что вы брызгаете в нижней части перед срезанием и для чего это ?

Это простая вода чтобы инструмент резал лучше. Советую брызгать воду

Gee we was using those tools in the 80s. Proper cave man tools. Really can't believe people are still using these. When u got the easy wire. Which is by far easier and quicker.
