@@TryAgainFPVCRSF receiver on board is something we would like to pursue, but the process has proven to be very time-consuming. Despite our interest, coordinating between the two companies involved has been taking much longer than anticipated, and at this point, it doesn’t make sense for us to continue with it right now.

I just got one of these a couple weeks ago for my 8yo son. It's great. I didn't want him flying my Vision 40 and getting it stuck in a tree or the neighbors roof. Now we can fly together.

ah, ph tuah eh, i mean, if its the batteries you have, it is ok for sure, just wont get all its potential, i do hope newbeedrone has come out with a good one, i fell in love with fpv thru a newbreedrone brushed 65mm with project mockingbird on it, but since that whoop, all the others are in the failed collections, parted out what components still worked and continued on the fpv journey, so yea, i do hope these new versions can bring back the love i had for them back then, so far seems ok, still baffled why the older oudated camera, easy swap to something better no worries there, the whoop frame seems durable and not breaking first crash, thats great to see, and who better to put the new newbeedrone whoops thru its paces that the leg end Bick Nurns aka Nick Burns! thanks man for the thorough review man! 👽🛸💦 ...

On one of these whoop videos you mentioned using a video frequency of race band 8 to help eliminate video noise from home wifi signals, is that a setting you adjust in betaflight for all your whoops? what about the milliwatt settings for the vtx? Thanks for your help!

I use Raceband 8 almost exclusively, in wifi saturated areas it is one of the best channels to use. I often adjust the power level to max when power levels are available.

I swapped the PH2 out for A30 before I even flew it the first time. Had to use 400’C iron and it took ages - no idea why but it was a real struggle to desolder. It flies beautifully but the frame broke on the first flight.

@@TheVeganarchism probably because nbd used lead free solder. Be careful because lead free solder fumes are pretty toxic. Also try putting on some of your own solder too.

Another great video.... Picked one up but when bound, the controls have no input in Betaflight and the model of drone just flips like crazy. Any thoughts? TX is latest ELRS ver.

Could be the channel mapping set in betaflight. Curious is betaflight doesn't show any inputs but your able to arm it? Also customers have reported binding issues and NewBeeDrone has publicly recognized the issues. I believe they emailed customers, if you don't have the email I suggest reaching out to support. I think there was an updated betaflight hex or cli to use.

@ First issue was the packet rate. It has to be under 500 I believe. After the change, it did bind but it started acting crazy in betaflight and would not arm. I turned off model match and all is good! Absolute joy to fly, so much fun. Winters will go by much faster now lol…Thank you for responding, love the channel!

Thanks Nick as always for the detailed review, I had this drone too but recently my drone had this auto radio cut off problem, I’m trying to find the cause of this , my last attempt to do was the ELRS 250Hz preset flash into this, I contacted newbeedrone technical support and was told to only use between 100 and 150Hz packet rate. May I have the settings on your current drone ? PS: even I copied the stock CLI , it doesn’t help at all. Very much appreciated for your kind attention Nick 🙏🏼

I liked how my mob6 flew, but the camera IMMEDIATELY died when I put it to the highest camera angle. Then when I flew it until the motors gave out because I wasnt paying attention to the battery the vtx started to flicker badly. So I ended u using it another custom build with an external vtx.

Newbeedrone does not honor warranties and are the worst customer service I have personally delt with. having had 7 product failures in their products ranging from blown ESC,s, FC 5v busses failures, motor failures and VTX with these humingbirds. Their "customer service" team will blame every possible reason that it was your fault, or incorrect battery installation or your bad flying. To add: i returned the first Hummingbird V3 after an ESC failure in the first 3 min of flight. They have possession of it and want me to pay for repairs. Almost the same cost as the drone. To this day, they still have the drone and never got a refund. The VTX's on this FC are prone to failure along with the Chinesium ESC's

Trained hundreds of Bridge and Inspection employees how to fly and operate these drones. Saves countless lives from potential accidents and terrorists attacks. My expirence is not just being a hobbiest, but as a professional in this industry with access to the best equipment

What a garbage. Can’t believe someone would make ph2.0 in late 2025. Also 4g heavier than rs version. Pure garbage!
