I love my 2004 new Beetle but needs a radiator . The shops at $100 for the radiator and $1,000 for the labor😢 My son removed, rebuilt and replaced his diesel Cummings Engine in his Ram truck. By himself. But he will not work on my Volkswagen! He said it's a pain in the ass and you have to take the whole freaking car apart to do one thing. I think it's time I need to ditch this money pit. Even though it's so fun to drive around in my convertible and save on gas over my truck. I think the kids are alright ditch that car mom

Una pregunta. The O rings on the radiator @12:05 ? There are O rings inside the housings (2006, 2.5). I push down hard, they clip, but then, I test them and they pull right off. Do I need them ? If so, I probably have to push harder ? Thank you for the video. Rebuilding after a friend crashed my bug. Triste.

The difficult part is to remove the screws behind the shock absorber to remove the black cover. You can move the wheels to both sides to have access but I think is very comfortless.

Disconnect the wiring to the fans, then remove the screws holding the fans to the radiator and remove the fans out the bottom. 5. Remove screws holding the air conditioning radiator and cooling radiator to the core support. 6. Move the radiators toward the engine, then lower the left side of the radiators then the right side. now you can remove the screws holding the two radiators together. 7.
