Because they have been brainwashed they have been kept away from the entire world and knowing anything to compare their lives to So if you don't know of a better way, and you've never seen a better way, how other people in other cultures treat their children, and the things they do then how in the hell would you know ? How would you even be a begin to think about what you're doing might be wrong or painful or bad?? POS. Me and my girlfriend are currently arguing about this with our 1 month old. She wants to get her ears peirced and I say absolutely not. I don't care if she won't remember the pain or not. She will be in pain regardless and its unnecessary. It could result in an infection or her pulling them out. Just don't understand. We should wait until she is old enough to make the decision on her own.
