Love the Esembly covers. Good to know they work with the osocozy.

I bought clotheez workhorses (fitted) & prefolds & covers for newborn size. For thereafter, I bought two more sizes of workhorses & then mama koala pocket diapers as covers, for fun & longevity.

So far, one month in, the babe is doing well with his newborn fitted diapers. I'm prepping his next two sizes in the laundry, now.

I love Fitted diapers on my babies, but this time around I'm on a tight budget with restrictions. So, tie nappies that can be used from newborn through potty training is my choice. I will miss having a variety of diapers to keep things a bit more interesting, but I'm thankful my husband relented on giving his ok on cloth diapering again lol

Honestly, my opinion is that you should buy 20 and commit to saving the environment by diverting 10 diapers a day from the landfill. If there are a few weeks where you use up all those free disposable diapers you get from samples at different places after you use your 10 per day I think that is fine. It brings the price down so much.

Good info. I also love fitteds and covers. I used them exclusively on my second baby in the newborn stage. I had 23 of the kissaluvs size zero and only needed 6 covers. That was all I could afford at the time and I had to wash ever night because I didn't have a dryer and had to hang dry them in the house cause it was winter time. 😆 This time around I only have 9 of the kissaluvs fitteds and am going to also have some prefolds and flats to use as well. I'm due in December with my first boy! (I have two girls that I cloth diapered already.) It's nice to hear that you like the Osocozy fitteds. I have always wondered about those but couldn't find that many reviews about them.

I'd probably do flats and covers if I were to do it again (not that I plan to!). I've done fitteds/covers, prefolds/covers, so I'd be up for something different. 💜 Heidi

I tried the pocket diapers with flats (gmd muslin) and with prefolds (AMP hemp) and found either it was too bulky or my son just kept completely soaking the hemp and out peeing the muslin. And then I attempted the covers with flats when his cord fell off and it worked for like..2 seconds before he out peed it within 3 days of trying it lol. I have yet to try the fitted and AIO options though (due to price) I'm definitely going to give it a go when I have my second 😊

Do flats work with esembly covers?
@lainaslife6351 Жыл бұрын
Yes. Folded on flats/ wrapped around baby or padfolded into the cover should work fine with the newborn size.

Did you try the newborn and small GMD fitteds with the ensemble covers? And did you have luck with the ensemble covers under the cord? I’m hoping I can just fold down the top! I got some ensemble covers for $10 on one of their sales :)

Here is my full review on the esembly products i picked up this time with baby #3 kzbin.info/www/bejne/mZSmlp2Aq6-De6c Even if the esembly covers are not under the umbilical stump on your baby, if you're using a fitted underneath, you already have that extra protection, so you can leave the waist a little loose, if that makes sense.
