Don't wear gloves when giving the baby a bath. She needs your human touch. The baby will feel the warmth of your hands, skin to skin. That's one way of parents bonding. Like breast feeding. Wearing gloves when in contact with the water with soap while bathing her..can be slippery and holding baby with it can be in danger of slipping it out of your hands..Maybe after bath by applying skin lotion esp in the intimate area..yes gloves can be advisable. Just a friendly advise...

How exciting it is to experience the role of first time parents so cherish each moment…. I have 6 kids and now a grandma of 8 wonderful grandkids is overwhelming. Not to forget I breastfeed all my 6 kids and seeing you in pain while breastfeeding reminds me the essence of motherhood and experiencing all the sacrifices of rearing them up without most of the time my husband around cuz he is a seaman and by the time he comes home ,they had changed physically and definitely missed seeing them coming out for the first time in this world welcoming and holding them with excitement . Martin is so lucky to be there with you and experiencing fatherhood and so are you having him around . Ave, you look prettier atm! You're glowing! I love it that you posted about this. Going to a shrink is a sign of self - love. It is better to discuss your problem with professionals than your family and friends because the professional knows what triggers that whilst the family and friends, would have interpretations, assumptions and what nots on what you are really dealing with which could just make things worse. I take my hat off you! This may be an unsolicited advice but please lay off the sugar. Blueberries (frozen or fresh please make it organic and better frozen than dried or cooked - should be eaten on an empty stomach), passion flower tea and lemon grass tea would help you find balance and help you against anxiety.
